Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area - Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is 197,000 acre area managed by the Bureau of Land Management, and protected as a National Conservation Area. It is located about 12 mi (20 km) west of Las Vegas, and easily seen from the Las Vegas Strip.

Nevada State Route 159 - Nevada State Route 159 is also know as Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas. It is a 30 mile highway, beginning at the junction of Nevada State Route 160 near Blue Diamond, Nevada, circling around the Red Rock Canyon area and due east towards Downtown Las Vegas and ending at Nellis Boulevard Nevada State Route 612 in the Sunrise Mountain area.
